What is Phonology?
Phonology is how we put sounds in order to form words. Generally, if your child says something, and you have no idea what they were trying to say, they may have difficulty with phonology. Consistent errors in putting sounds together are called phonological processes. Nearly everyone has them at some point, however they are considered a disorder when they persist past a certain age.
