Jaina has over 20 years of experience working with the pediatric population. She was born and raised in Fairbanks. After receiving her B.S. in Biological Sciences in 1995 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, she saw a need for speech therapists here in Fairbanks. She went back to school to complete her Master’s degree in speech/language pathology at Washington State University. Jaina began working part-time at Talkabout in 2001, becoming full-time in 2004. Jaina has recently completed the SOS Approach to Feeding Course in order to help the children of our community with feeding issues.
